Plumridge Cropped Quilt Coat
Our Plumridge Cropped Quilt Coat is back - and this time it’s made from a vintage Friendship Quilt dated from 1936! If I love anything, it’s a feedsack quilt - and what makes this special is that it is covered in the names of it’s embroiderers, with every signature bearing the handwriting style of its maker (how unbelievably cool and special is that?!). Beyond the one of a kind signature quilt blocks, this coat has the fluffiest, softest genuine shearling collar. It’s oversized and perfect for bundling up and so fun to style. On the inside of the coat you’ll find our signature, oversized interior pockets (perfect for your phone, sunglasses, lipstick, keys, snacks…etc). Finishing every detail, you’ll find the neckline, pockets, cuffs and coat loop finished with bias binding in blue seersucker cotton, with vintage grosgrain ribbon perfectly finishing every interior seam, and the perfect, one of a kind jelly pink vintage buttons (there were only four and they’re all used here!) to close up the coat.

Every quilt coat includes two signature oversized pockets on the interior of the coat - meaning the pattern of the quilt is never disrupted. We believe in the finest garment finishing techniques and have over 15 years of garment construction and tailoring experience. Every seam and edge of the garment is finished with bias binding and vintage grosgrain ribbon, and includes a coat loop to hang our garment from.
