Quilted Oven Mitt Ornament

Cooler temps call for mittens and there have never been cuter mitts than these!

Crafted from a vintage 1930’s Grandmother’s Flower Garden quilt (and my all time favorite quilt I’ve ever had in my care) these mittens all feature varying shades of green patchwork (some delightful sun bleached bits are in there!) and the original feedsack fabrics that made up the flowers. Each mitten is a single layer, showing the quilts original beige backing, and lots of hand stitching throughout. Strung from a 10” cut of hemp twine, each ornament is ready to be hung on the tree, tied around package or looped around a gift bag.

Each ornament is one of a kind, and cut and sewn in my Chicago studio!
