Amy Quilted Chore Coat
Have you ever seen Sister Act?!
That’s right, there are two quilt coats made from this pristine Grandmother’s Flower Garden quilt - and our number one style, the Amy Quilted Chore Coat is back in a big way. Repurposing the quilt to show off every aspect of its incredible design, the scalloped edge of the quilt has become the hem of the coat, and the lapel - meaning the intricate hand sewn bias binding of the original quilt is on full display at center front. Beyond that, our signature oversized interior pockets showcase more of the hexie pattern on the inside of the coat, finished with bias binding that matches the cuff hem and collar attachment, as well as the coat loop. Vintage grosgrain ribbon finishes the side seams, and the perfect vintage acrylic buttons (we’re always looking for a good vintage button!) close up the front of the coat. If you’re a fan of pink like I am (it’s absolutely my favorite) and love one of kind details (I can’t get over the hem and the lapel), do not sleep on this coat!

We believe in the finest garment finishing techniques and have over 15 years of garment construction and tailoring experience. Every seam and edge of the garment is finished with bias binding and vintage grosgrain ribbon, and includes a coat loop to hang our garment from.
