Louise Quilted Chore Coat with Shearling Collar

This is one not to be missed - the first and original Louise Quilted Chore Coat is back in this silhouette, slightly elongated (perfect for bundling up in breezy fall weather) and complete with an oversize, genuine shearling collar. Maybe the best part of all - this coat is crafted from an unbelievable Friendship quilt dating from 1936. Delicately embroidered with the names of its makers, this quilt was made in Texas and has a little bit of that country feel reflected in the feed sack fabrics making up the various patchwork squares.
